Cakes4Kids

Cakes4Kids is the name for our workshops designed especially for children from 6 years** of age. These workshops take place at your home around the dining/kitchen table or other suitable venue. Cakes4Kids workshops are only available on Saturdays and public holidays. (During school holidays we will be running workshops from our premises or other suitable venues as parent/kids workshops).

Cakes4Kids workshops/parties do not involve any cooking; all the cakes, ganache, fondant and tools are provided for each child. The aim of the kids’ workshops is to allow each child the opportunity to decorate their cakes with designs that are within their age capabilities.

Numbers are limited to a maximum of 8 children per workshop. Each workshop is designed to take approximately 2 hours (not including set up time), and if the kids don't finish, they can take home some fondant so that they can finish their special creation.

Prices for the workshops are $300 all inclusive for four children (this includes cakes, fondant, and the use of tools and of course the cake box to take their creation home). The price for each additional child is $50 up to a maximum of 8 children. Travel time is included if your house/venue is within 15 km of the Perth CBD, additional travel costs will be included if outside this area ($20 plus $1.50 per km return trip).

Party Workshop "Mini cakes" (from 6 yrs**)

In this workshop we are going to decorate two small domes (each cake serves 2-3). This workshop is suitable for children aged 6 years and over. During this workshop we will cover the two domes with ganache and fondant.  Once this is done, the cakes can be decorated and turned into various creations such as pigs, frogs or ladybugs. Duration of the workshop is approximately 2 hours (not including setup time)


 **Children under 9 will require a parent helper per child.
